Vensis is a small – but growing – UK-based team of people who have the talent and drive to solve our clients’ problems and a readiness to collaborate with customers and colleagues.
Join us and you’ll take ownership of your client accounts and projects, working directly with our customers with regular calls and site visits.
At Vensis, we replace training exercises and long inductions with on-the-job responsibilities from month one. Your salary progresses with experience (as does your holiday allowance). We also have an employee share system and salary-sacrifice benefits, such as car and Cycle to Work schemes.

Who we’re looking for
We’re currently recruiting:
Trainee developers
Ideally, you’ll have some experience of SQL and front-end development. However, your enthusiasm to learn and ability to solve technical problems is most important.
Front-end/UI developers
For this role, you’ll need experience with front-end development platforms such as React, JavaScript, or relevant Microsoft Stack (including power platform products).
Product Owner
We’re looking for someone to join the team who can work with clients both to define and design solutions but also to manage the roadmap of future developments after go live. Experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Product Owner is required.

“The best thing about working at Vensis is having the opportunity to figure out the correct solution to a client’s problem, then implementing a system to solve it.
My previous jobs were really useful to help me get to grips with the software we build. I was a business analyst at a national home appliance retailer, then worked in a purchasing and production processing role at an electrical cabling company.
I’ve worked at Vensis since 2016. It’s hard to choose a favourite project (they all have their good parts!) Working with an F1 engineering team on their resource planning for special projects does stand out, however – helped by the private tour of their design centre during the pre-design phase of course! I’m currently working with a large food manufacturer. It’s fascinating to see how the products I eat are prepared and it’s great to help the client improve the way they create them.
As Vensis grows, I’m excited to work in a larger team and expand our company’s capabilities. I definitely know we need the right kind of people to do that, who are keen to collaborate with us and work as hard as we do. Then we can continue to provide the best solutions for our clients.”

“The client site visits we do here at Vensis are perfect for helping me understand the problems we’re solving for our clients.
I really enjoy learning about a company’s processes and helping guide them to a better solution – seeing the benefits of the systems we’ve built first-hand.
Before joining Vensis, I studied my HND in Computing and Systems Development then worked as a junior software developer, creating software on top of Sage 200. In that role, I had to build systems on top of what the client already had in place, which limited my creativity. I really like that, here at Vensis, we have the freedom to build bespoke to deliver what the client wants.
If I had to pick a favourite project, I’d choose the system we built for a major leisure home manufacturer. Due to the size of the project, it’s been my biggest challenge to date. I’ve met some fantastic people, who I still get to work with as we expand the system to meet the client’s needs.”
